I agree that ingame highways speed limit vary from 80 km/h (most of EU) to 100 km/h (Romania) and 97 km/h (GB), but since I take WOT jobs I didn't find an issue having truck speed limit at 90 km/h. The time to deliver a job is in real hours and I believe that the game time ratio is 24h to 1 hour.

I have talked with other modders, as well as tested it for myself. i.e. Driving 95 on a road that has a 80/110 limit (80 for trucks, 110 for cars) past a speed camera will give you a fine. So this is proof that switching to "Car Limit" does not change which speed limits you have to drive by.

Sep 3, 2017 · 1. There is no "key for speed limiter", only for retarder, parking brake and engine brake (engine brake is not the issue, because it would have turned off when accelerator or clutch is applied). 2. OP is asking about 37 MPH limit, which is way lower than speed limiter's 90 km/h.

Driving past a speed camera or a police car by exceeding the speed limit for 110 percent or more will result in a fine. Until both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator update 1.36, the amount of the fine was €200 in Europe and $500 ~ $1,000 in the United States, regardless of the driver's speed.
